Pre-Employment and Background Investigations
Many employers are realizing the importance of pre-employment background investigations and are utilizing investigative companies to assist them with this responsibility. This vital information allows businesses to better evaluate their applicants, and avoid the possibility of a threatening or violent employee's.
Pre-employment background investigations may include a criminal screening, DMV record research and a social security trace. Each search is thorough and conducted in a highly confidential manner, so you are assured that your information is accurate and current.
The following searches are the most common types requested by our corporate and individual clients.
Criminal Records Investigations
International Security Services' Investigative Unit conducts thorough and comprehensive investigation to include a complete search through the subject's residential and employment county history. We recommend obtaining such information from the past seven to ten years. This investigation includes Municipal and Superior Court searches including any misdemeanor and/or felony records. The turn around time for such an investigation can be immediate, or up to several days, depending on the county, and/or case research.
Driving Record Investigative Search
Driving records are available nationwide. A license number or name and date of birth are required in order to conduct this search. You will receive your result quickly, usually within two to twenty-four hours.
Social Security Investigative Trace
A Social Security Number Trace reveals a subject's previous addresses as reported from the individual. This search also verifies that the social security matches the individual who is claiming the particular number. The information is derived from three National Consumer Credit Agencies.
Credit History Research and Investigation
Consumer Credit Reports provide a seven-year history of an individual's credit history. Consent and authorization by the subject must accompany the request for a credit report in order to comply with the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Asset Investigation
Asset Search may include a request for bank locations, brokerage and mutual fund information, real property, bankruptcies, liens and judgments. In order to conduct this type of search, you must provide a social security number or Tax I.D. number.

Specialized Workplace Threat Intervention Program
Have you ever thought or said, "We'll be fine," or, "Nothing's going to happen," or, "We've never had a problem before?" It is very common for individuals to think that such a tragic incident will never happen to them. Unfortunately, workplace threats and violence are prevalent today among all types of occupations and employment levels.
Since workplace violence has increased tremendously within the last few years, we have responded to this demand for specialized security protection by providing you with a Hostile Employee Suppression Unit. This special team is comprised of law enforcement affiliated individuals who are assigned to protect you and your company personnel. These protection specialists dress in attire appropriate to the assignment and are authorized to carry concealed weapons. In addition, staff psychologists and labor law specialists are available to assist you with your difficult workplace situation.
Today, employers cannot afford to not be prepared for any threats or acts of violence in the workplace. Employers need to protect their employees, attempt to avoid costly litigation, and maintain the company's credibility. For example, common security responsibilities include monitoring products, security buildings, and monitoring entry and exit areas.
